PREVIOUS WORK:
I was the country manager / local general manager for FSC-certified timber companies with around 2000ha of land in Costa Rica. I was in charge of approximately 50 employees. My work included budget- and cash flow planning, contracting, surveillance of forest-inventories, sales and logistics and reporting to the shareholder organization in Austria.
OVERVIEW OF FURTHER EXPERIENCE:
I have been working on several R&D projects, including resilience of infrastructure projects, strategic environmental assessment, private and public crisis management cooperation, maritime emergency management as well as forestry. I currently study organizations, strategy and management. I focus on unwanted and unexpected events, which cause threats to the existence of individuals, organisations or systems. I look at how organizations can cope with such events.
